After moving to Canada, she briefly swam with the Calgary Aquabells before changing her interest to softball and soccer. Some of Amanda's hobbies are traveling, quadding, camping, sewing, reading and spending time with friends and family. Amanda told her parents at the age of 4 that she wanted to be a teacher and she has made her dream become a reality. Amanda is patient and very passionate about teaching at Thumbelina Preschool.
